A Gangster-led Nation
On the 27th of this month Trump issued a kind of warning and a threat to Russia to get out of Venezuela. This is after Russia has sent military equipment and 100 military advisors as a token of support for Venezuela and a solid commitment to halt the American aggression. “Russia has to get out” of Venezuela , and that “All options are on the table” Trump said recently. This position was reiterated by the Vice President Mike Pence who said, ““Nicolás Maduro is a dictator with no legitimate claim to power, and it is the policy of the United States of America, at the direction of President Donald Trump, that Nicolás Maduro must go.” We still remember what has been said and done to Saddam Hussein in 2003 in Iraq by George W Bush, and by Barak Obama to Muammar Gaddafi in Libya in 2011 and to Victor Yanukovich in Ukraine in 2014 and what has been tried to Bashar Assad in Syria after 2011. The US and Canada in particular are launching a comprehensive and concerted aggressive campaign against Venezuela as a mean for re-colonization of Latin America.
Venezuelian people together with the army have already thwarted a coup attempt by the US when Juan Guaido who is the President of the National Assembly declared himself the “interim President” on the 22nd of Jan under the instruction of the Pence the Vice President of the US. This coup attempt failed miserably and the US failed to create public chaos under the pretext of delivering “humanitarian aid” via the Colombian and Brazilian borders as well as through sabotaging the Electric National Grid that plunged Venezuela for few days in total darkness.
This led the US administration to contemplate seriously to resort to the option of military intervention or complete invasion as happened in Iraq in 2003. This option seems to have been discussed with the Brazilian President during his recent visit to the US. By sending military equipment and personal to Venezuela who already activated the S-300 systems bought recently from Russia to protect the capital Caracas and vital and key installations against any anticipated American aggression, Russia hope that this will constitute a enough deterrent from any US invasion. The situation is becoming very delicate and dangerous, but what is obvious is that Putin is fully committed to protect Venezuela against all the odds, as it did in the case of Syria. Surely Russia sees that as an essential arena to confront this gangster-led nation to assert the new multi-polar world order, and to protect other nations from the thuggery and mafia style acts of this administration.
